USB for HAAS VF2 machine... would it work?

Question:

I would like to get a quote on the Disk Drive Upgrade, Floppy Drive to USB Converter.

We here have a Haas VF2 machine. Also I would like to know if this drive works on the SPC-II controls for the Boston Digital machines which use 2DD type of floppy disks of 720K capaity.

Answer:

AS long as the drive is IBM compatible and the disks can be read in both the machine and in a PC then, it will work fine. If the disk is not IBM compatible, let us know the brand (it should say on it) and ill give you the corresponding drive.

Yes, we have both 720 and 144. Please let me know what type you want when ordering.

These go from $275 up to $325, depending on if you need file chooser or not.
